Job’s Journey

A Book for Children (of all ages)

About the Book of Job, Thomas Carlyle said: “It is one of the grandest things ever written with pen: grand in its sincerity, in its simplicity, in its epic melody and repose or reconciliation…. soft as the summer midnight, as the world with its seas and stars…. A book for all mankind.”

Job’s Journey, a book for children, is based upon the ancient Book of Job in the Old Testament. Dr. Long preserves the rich language and powerful images of the traditional story, while adding colorful and dramatic artistic value.

“I selected text from the Book of Job, and then created the art believing that when parents and grand-parents read this book to their little children, they will have a unique opportunity to explore and explain the majest and omnipotence of the Creator to their children.”
